1955

MOSSER IS FOUNDED

Mosser Companies is founded in 1955 in San Francisco by Charles Mosser.

1965

A VISION FOR VALUE-ADD

Charles undertook the visionary value-add strategy to turn around troubled multifamily housing assets in transitioning residential neighborhoods.

1991

DOWNTOWN SAN FRANCISCO EXPANSION

We expanded our presence through an acquisition strategy focused on assets in downtown San Francisco from outlier markets. Today, these urban investments represent the vast majority of our portfolio.

2000

A NEW GENERATION

Neveo Mosser, a long-time member of the San Francisco Rent Board and past President of the California Apartment Association, becomes CEO.

2012

MOSSER CAPITAL IS ESTABLISHED

We created Mosser Capital, a private equity vehicle that allows institutional investors to invest alongside Mosser.

2016

OAKLAND, HERE WE COME

We expand our presence to Oakland, implementing our strategy of value-add renovations in emerging neighborhoods in core West Coast markets.

2017

WE LOVE L.A.

Mosser expands to the Los Angeles market with the acquisition of eight buildings in great locations.
