Job Summary: The Marketing Associate will be responsible for developing new engaging campaigns and strategies to drive traffic to our sites. The ideal candidate will be an SEO rock star, able to analyze marketing data and metrics. The Marketing Associate will also be involved in creating promotional events, compelling content, and traditional media strategies. The candidate should have a background in marketing and experience with web analytics tools and applications, as well as marketing strategy.

Essential Functions:  

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Roll out marketing campaigns using social media platforms
  • Gather and analyze consumer behavior data in web traffic and rankings
  • Generate reports on marketing and sales metrics
  • Contribute to collaborative efforts and organize promotional events
  • Compile forecasting reports
  • Analyze market trends and competitors’ methods
  • Assist in setting brand standards, mission, and goals
  • Improve reach to customers through SEO campaigns
  • Assist in creation of SEO, content, and design strategies
  • Maintain and update records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
  • Present forecasts, metrics, and any relevant information to senior leadership
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties as needed

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or statistics or relevant field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of direct marketing experience
  • Significant experience with SEO/SEM campaigns and digital tools
  • Experience with rolling out marketing campaigns and building an audience through social media applications and tools.
  • Superior computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, marketing technology applications such as web analytics and Google AdWords
  • Up-to-date on latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of industry and its position in the market
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Multifamily property management marketing experience and/or ability to learn property management software (Yardi experience is huge plus)

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
